I specially love how well built this page is, the eye can track the action and follow what's happening effortlessly, creating a visual divide between good and evil with how Freeza, and Gohan and Goku are placed across the panels communicating movement and action much the way Toriyama-sensei himself did so well, especially in early Dragon Ball. His panels were each individual illustrations, if you look back, some of the pages are legitimate works of art and mastery of visual, sequential art, et al. A lot is said about how Dragon Ball is all about power levels and absurd combat but I don't feel enough has been said about how Toriyama's style influenced manga, anime and culture. The man is a real monster of the medium, shame it's such a difficult career, crazy schedule, etc. I wish Shueisha would let him kind of just go off and do one-shots and stand alone shorts to his liking and whim but the industry seemingly doesn't see it fit to permit for such an approach and must adapt, but I digress. Toriyama seems happy as he is and he's more than paid his dues. Legends seldom reach this caliber, so kudos to Toriyama and kudos to the artist for this tremendous page!
