Piccolo simply unshared his 'wifi' to freeze everyone. He could keep the vibration small enough for his own use. What I don't agree with is that both the Saiyans should have returned to base form once the energy flow in their bodies was interrupted.

​3.) Where are Gast and Vegetto? Did they escape or were they killed or simply separated by spikes?

Yeah, I thought the same thing. They should be very accustomed to sensing ki to locate people outside their field of vision. it would be like knowing who just came online. However, 'looking' feels more intuitive.

​It is almost impossible to search beneath this "forest of spikes" for survivors. The easiest way would be if Piccolo were to expand his bubble indefinitely to reach as far as possible, just like he did to wake these five. However, this would accelerate the death of the injured or pinned.

​Someone said these spikes grew from the ground beneath the arena. I don't fully agree. If they had come from the ground beneath, growing and pushing upward, we should see quite a lot of victims lying on top of these spikes, not beneath. If they came from above, victims were simply pinned down, not dispersed. It must have been something in the air at ground level that expanded like popcorn, dispersing everyone. Some were lucky enough to get in between the gap of the spike balls and survived.

Something to add to my previous comment. When Piccolo 'woke' them, he might had felt whose ki were just fade off.

When 'The Darkness' descended, every member of U18 was within the confines of their wall/enclosure. Therefore, none of them were too far away. Furthermore, only about a minute actually passed, although it might have felt shorter perceptually, and to everyone besides Piccolo, it was just the blink of an eye. Even though the terrain changed, the positions of those inside the wall remained largely the same. So, when Piccolo 'woke up' those around him, he was roughly able to tell who was still alive or injured based on the 'ki' he sensed.

From the last "flash back" chapter, Raditz fused with U13 Goku but failed to defeat
entry level SSJ3 Vegeta. From there we can see augmented and fused Raditz still pretty much weaker than any ssj3 tier person. Not to mention him alone.

So i assume when elder khai said "by far", he meant by far Raditz is close to South Khai level. He just didn't has the potential like Gohan and he didn't train like U18 Goku. Augmented by XXi or not, South Khai still way stronger.

On page 32, someone described Gast defeated Cell in his universe and that Cell is in this tournament too. So Cell would looked more or less the same in most universes since its base form is some kind of cicada however different in power wise.

I bet he is the future Goten. Because Goku didn't go to Planet Yardrat, he returned home sooner than in other universes, meaning he had Goten earlier.

The fact that Gohan is really dead and this is the future Goten explains his older age compared to Videl and his absence from the Multiverse Tournament.

這神龍感覺像是地球(頭)+娜美克(身體)+超的神龍(翅膀+發光)。

XXI自己的魔法加上擁有龍珠已經是超越神的存在，所以讓它能夠執著於在比賽中勝出一­定龍珠以外的因素。可能是要讓自己成為第一宇宙的生物，那麼就可以使用穿越宇宙科技去­吞噬無限量的宇宙。所以就算真的讓出一個願望給19宇宙，也不過是治好自己將要吞噬的­食物，不用吃碳。

Xxi is not taking any risk, he stopped just right after the organizer announced Gast's forfeit. So I don't think Xxi would be disqualified. Failing to enjoy his longed prey, hence the F-words.

Gast is simply exhausted and partially digested but survived.
