I was waiting for this page to see if U18 Vegeta had a plan and did a fake-out to reappear behind U13 Vegeta and slash his head off, but it looks like this wasn't the case and he actually did lose.

If this is the case, I gotta say I'm extremely disappointed. The transition between the last 2 pages before this one makes no sense to me. Why would U18 Vegeta just stand still and be knocked out of the bubble so effortlessly?

I feel like it was a really out-of-character way to lose for him, without any integrity. Similar to how Goku lost to XXI without any true honor in either fight.

I really hope I'm proven wrong, though.

Goku was able to teleport to Cell when he blasted off and he was way further away, so why would U18 Vegeta NOT be able to teleport to his counterpart who is only a few feet away? 1 Replie(s)

Also, why is Bra being all useless hanging around here instead of using her unlimited teleportation to scout for survivors or whatever Goku and Vegeta are doing?
She would be much more efficient at teleporting to random places and finding people or even the dragon balls.

I'm pretty sure in the novel Vegetto immediately memorized the new fusion dance steps during the U18 Gotenks vs U4 Zen Buu fight and took his U16 Goten and Trunks to their apartment and taught them the steps.

My money is on Krillin somehow not being dead and holding Vegeta down so they both get hit by the Genki Dama.

Why do they need to conserve their bodies though? Yes, they did that in the Piccolo saga but after that it never mattered if their bodies were there or not.
Look at the Babidi attack saga in DBM: tons of people were disintegrated and came back to life right there and then.

I absolutely agree. I don't get why Gohan is touted as this insanely powerful and unsurpassable warrior among everyone when BuuTenks wiped the floor with him effortlessly.

After 20+ years of training, both Goku and Vegeta should be immeasurably stronger than Gohan. Especially since Gohan didn't even train a single day in those 20 years.

I know Dai Kaioshin said in the manga his magical powers unlock someone's hidden strengths beyond their wildest limits, but this is still too much in my opinion.

Wait a second, when did Gast ever see this technique?? This was only used by Vegetto and Bra when they were fighting Buu in outer space (we can assume Gast did not see this fight back in the arena) and when Buu fought everyone before getting sent back home.

So Piccolo is definitely trying to taunt Bracca to spit on him again but Piccolo will somehow redirect the spit so Bracca petrifies himself.
But I thought Bracca said he's able to undo his own petrification.
Maybe he meant he can undo the petrification on other people, but not if he petrifies himself?

I really don't get why I'K'L didn't use Ki blasts from the beginning to eliminate everyone and everything. I thought he was constrained while using his Zawarudo but doesn't seem to be the case.
Why didn't he just fire a bunch of Ki blasts and get it all over with in one go?

Not sure if this would happen but it would be cool if Piccolo actually went back to being young just like Shiryu's master did in Saint Seiya.
Basically his "old" state is just a way to extend his life-span but he can go back to being young in times of crisis.

I know we all want to see ShenLong, but wouldn't it make sense for Tambo to simply as Baba for the location of his mother directly?
Rather than asking her where the Dragon Ball is just so that he can ask ShenLong where his mother is?

I'm sure Baba can find the location of people, not just objects.

I'm pretty certain Salagir will have Goku take the win, but I wonder if he's going to actually have them both pass out at the same time and issue a poll to have us, the readers, choose who the winner will be (of course, we won't know the results until 2, maybe 3, specials in between).
