There are probably flaws & secrets in him that he didn't want to risk Gast figuring out if he fought him head on from the start. Or maybe he just didn't want to risk that Gast could have something unexpected that he doesn't know how to counter. But for the most part it seems like he's largely resistant to most of Gast's bag of tricks which makes me question what could have possibly been worried about to feel the need to ask "how can i beat him easily" in the first place.

XXI used Janemba and other tricks because he is a coward. His helper said to him, that he never takes risks. XXI even "needed" help to defeat Android 18.

Honestly this idea to bring down one of the best and most important female DB characters is kinda weird.

Bulma was originally written as a selfish city girl for the Pilaf arc because it made for a more interesting MC duo (naive pure martial arts boy, self interested sophisticated city teenage girl). They bounced off each other better. Once the arc ended, Bulma's selfishness barely ever came into play and she was consistently written as a good person (while still somewhat retaining her "city girl" edge but far less relevant). She did nothing but support and help her buddies, and she's arguably the Dragon Ball heroine.

I think it's more the latter. Pan SSJ almost won against untransformed Bojack, after all, and I don't see a child like her being at the level of Cell Games SSJ Vegeta.

I mean, he's an adult Frost Demon in his original form. He's maybe not as strong as king Cold in DBM, but probably still around #17 and #18's strength. So, yeah. Definitely really strong. Still probably nothing compared to transformed Bojack.

Agreed completely. The argument of "Well it's either this or DBM takes a break!" isn't a convincing argument for me at all. Everything with any sort of quality needs to take a break at some point, and while some special chapters have merit and some interesting stories to tell, I don't think "How did the Kaios seal Bojack" or "Why are Cold and his family the last of Freeza's Race (Not calling them Frost Demons)(Also as far as we know they aren't they're just the strongest)" are interesting enough questions to warrant having a chapter all by themselves to explain things.

I'd rather have no chapter than something that feels like it's trying to waste the readers time, which is what visualizations of incredibly obvious stories sort of are.

The problem isn't even that Bojack is a bad character, he's certainly not good, it's just that there are some stories where the reader can imagine just about how everything plays out. Bojack's origin story and his eventual end are both fine stories in their own right (With some glaring issues as well), because they told us something new about the character's backstory and his eventual fate. The question "How did Bojack gang kill everyone" being answered with "Bojack gang killed everyone :)" is however not a good answer at all.

Not to mention the whole thing with Enma Daio not letting the gang return to stop Bojack is pretty nonsensical too

About the end of the fight yeah ok, Goku wins as mandatory, nothing special happened, half of it was just a reference to something else, kinda boring ending (not cause Goku won, just the execution). At least I gotta admit I was wrong with Salagir just making up this chapter out of nowhere after people complained about last chapter auto-spoiling itself. I can't imagine he'd make Asura work this much for 30 pages just for that. Although one of my old questions from when last chapter was "the end of the fight" still remains. Was it really worth making a second chapter to repeat the winner? It's a shame but for me no. This second part of the battle barely had anything relevant or worth remembering. Goku's laser kamehameha vs Vegy's copypasted sword is the only thing resembling a memorable moment. It's just a shame this massive effort feels kinda wasted when we could've so much from it.

Also, and this is way less important, never been a fan of those comic-style giant letters. If your draws show the hit is big, the hit is big, no need for letters to explain that to me unless you suck at drawing, and that is OBVIOUSLY NOT Asura's case. page 2179 didn't need that BS cause the original DB page it referenced didn't need that BS, cause it is not needed. This "last" page (at least the light implies so, but we've been lied before...) gets dirtied by 1/5 of the thing being covered by that...

Agree with you guys 100% on this. The 2-3 panel pages got pretty old after the first week or so, and the reaction panels have become the highlight of this.

Being free does not exclude a product/work from having negative criticisms. The only way to stop that, is to keep it private. But any public thing is AWAYS open for criticism, constructive or not. This is not right. Kakarotto had his tail on all the specials, and there is no reason to believe he lost it after that as far as I can read. Buu gave him the idea to turn super Saiyan as Ozaru, but nothing else.

You know, a part of me does feel like it should have been Yamcha and Bulma over Vegeta and Bulma. Oh well, at least we got Trunks (no, the one from the alternate future) out of it and it still managed to somehow work.

Bulma ending up with Yamcha would just make her a less relevant character

and would do nothing for Yamcha. Also, Yamcha is too much of a wimp for Bulma.

Bulma being with Vegeta gave/gives us:
a) more settings where Bulma is just "hanging around", but still being part of the plot (such as when Vegeta and Goku train at Bulma's and f.Trunks shows up)

b) redemption for Vegeta (would not be possible without him making a family on earth)

c) Trunks and Bra - two saiyan kids with high potential

d) Less screentime wasted on Yamcha

e) Fun dynamics where Bulma is giving shit to Vegeta, a galaxy-buster at the very least, and the prideful Vegeta has to take it

f) That moment where Vegeta explains to Goku that saiyan women were fierce, which is probably why he is attracted to Bulma and why Goku is attracted (maybe..) to Chichi

Mr. Satan is strong as a human but incredibly weak unlike our heroes even in the OG Dragon ball, and comparing him to Ox King is insulting.

Ox King had a power level similar to Master Roshi, even though he failed to learn KI control from Master Roshi, yet he was incredibly strong to the point that if Videl from the tournament that can fly, if she were to fight him she wouldn't even be able to scratch him, if you don't believe me then watch Dragon ball or read the manga. I gave a power level of 80 to Videl that she doesn't deserve, and i was literally highballing her with that power level, but I gave her that level of strength to be similar to the fighters in 21st Tenkaichi Budokai level of strength or at least to be similar to the level that Goku had in that tournament, although I don't think she can even beat Goku at the beginning of the story who knocked giants to the ground with a single punch, destroyed large rocks as a morning exercise, and thought the bullets were actually marbles thrown at him, it was that weak for him when Bulma shot him with a gun (Goku was off guard just to mention it). Really strong fighters have stopped coming to tournaments after Goku vs Piccolo fight otherwise Mr. Satan or Videl wouldn't even come close to winning any tournaments, and you underestimate Chi-Chi and her skill and strength, to get herself back into shape after so many years of not training in order to train her younger son, who is no joke.

now as to how strong Chi Chi and Videl are you really think shes that weak?

and really Chi Chi should have learned flying and basic kii blasts by default being married to Goku the fact she doesn't. Means she Willfully chose not to learn.
