There is the classic Mouth Beam technique that could be used as a surprise attack in this kind of situation. Let's hope Veggie remembers it after so long.

Legoman was saying:
Damn, that hand is destroyed! U13Vegeta should just blast a final flash or something, U18 Vegeta doesn't have anything to deflect it, he doesn't seem worried at all though. This is getting interesting.

After IT and landing a hit U18 should be speeding towards safety instead of playing around with U13.
U18 is stronger than his counterpart. He knows this, and everyone he cares about already knows this, thus he has nothing to prove.
On the other hand, prioritizing Pan's and the injured Namek's safety over proving his strength would show his maturity much better. 1 Replie(s)

U18 probably doesn't want to turn ssj3 for this fight. He needs to save energy for long-drawn war and the ssj3 aura might be too much for the Namekian to maintain the bubble.
With two handicaps (ssj1 Pan cannot take hits either), the safest/smartest move here for U18 would be moving around and dodging attacks until u13's ssj3 burns out.

Now I know what you are thinking. "What would happen if I ripped out this nucleus?" And the answer... might surprise you.

Lately i have been thinking how much the entire DB fanbase have put our stocks in power levels. I'm not referring to powerscaling, but the numerical figures mentioned in the manga, all of which were based on the calculations of FRIEZE FORCE's technology.

The last figure in the manga was 1 million - Frieza's 2nd form, and it was mentioned by daddy's little princess himself. And as a result, the fans have used this figure as a base for estimating how much each fighter's PL is.

But which technology was used to inform Frieza of this 1 million number? And when did that measurement happen (i'm sure Frieza didn't enter his stronger forms regularly for checkups)? How much accuracy can we expect from scouters that break at the first sight of rapid powerup? The standard model of scouters used by Frieza and his men on Namek (not the latest version brought by Ginyu) could only handle a PL of something over 20,000 before exploding. Which scientist under Frieza's employment would have had the balls to point out if his highly egoistical boss' PL was actually lower than the one previously reported to him?

From what we saw on Namek, the majority of Frieza's men know jack shit about Ki manipulation and detection, and most likely including the scientists.

Powercreeping in Namek in reality may still be subtantial, but probably not as much as the scouters would have you think.

I'm guessing Buu split himself into 7 pieces like Shenron.
The "yon" part in the name "Buyon" means "four" in Japanese, which might suggest Buyon is the 4th of them.
Buyon being friendly towards the gang (and Goku) here could also mirror the 4-star dragon ball holding a significant sentimental value to Goku (the same thing happened in GT). 1 Replie(s)

Here is my theory for why Vegetto is acting so out of character:
Long story short, it is the price of using fusion.

It is widely known that fusions (metamoran or potara) enhance all traits of the two participants to create a new warrior, which include both the good (power) and the bad (character flaws).

These fused warriors were not meant to be scientists, or teachers, or even fathers. They are created to be the absolute last resort against powerful opponents/threats. For this very specific (and short) role, the features that enhance strength like anger and aggression are prefered by the fusion mechanism (this is especially true in saiyans' case).

As such, I believe over time, as the new warrior's power increase, his mental state also (slowly) deteriorates and the character flaws become more and more visible. Of course, it doesn't help when one also has to deal with what Vegetto usually has on his plate).

The risk of fusions is that you ultimately create a powerful brute who can barely control his emotion running rampant (there is also the increased hunger that only lots of senzus can satiate, this is either added as a safety method to kill the warrior or just adds fuel to the fire since that warrior may go crazy even sooner and destroy everything in search of food).

This may be the reason why the potara is reserved to be used by kais who are inately tranquill beings (Zamasu and dbs don't count, but we all saw how HIS fusion turns out). Metamorans modified their fusion dance to mitigate this risk by including a time limit, in exchange for a lowered power multiplier (and in gotenks' case, the fused warrior gains enhanced childishness instead of aggession).

I developed this theory after reading DBM and watching some Ultra Vegito episodes, which also feature a Vegito who made some very questionable choices and has some ... anger issues. 1 Replie(s)
