Same reason he didn't use it against Uub - turning NSSJ requires time, and I don't think Broly is giving him time here.
I don't think that's the correct explanation. Uub would have surely given him time for that. Same as Cell with Vegeta.

Here is the (out of universe) explanation:

First, at this point of the story, Salagir probably haven't even thought about NSSJ.

Second, Vegeta made it very clear in Buu's first rampage, that he won't use his full power for a pink gum they already have beaten. And let's be real, if either of them used it before their great fight against each other, it would have been lame and not as impactful like what we got to see.

Third, NSSJ wouldn't help much here anyway. They are still not even close to Broly. Remember this Broly beat "Ultra Buu", who absorbed all Z Fighters and was probably on par with Vegetto, 8 years prior and his power increased over the time. And its the first time that I hear about Broly getting weakened in the ice block. I doubt that's the case, if anything his power is just "frozen". But he still destroyed the whole universe before being frozen, so he had time to double his Ki again after killing the Z Fighters.

Ultra Buu was almost certainly weaker than SSJ Vegetto, U20 Broly is just stronger now in the tournament than he was when he fought Ultra Buu since Broly spent some time rampaging across the universe before he froze in space. Otherwise yes, he'd still be stronger than Goku and Vegeta in their new form so in that sense I think Broly would still win. If U20 Broly didn't have that "invincibility hax" then Goku probably would have a slim chance by beating Broly as Lucas mentioned.

It's not important, but I wonder if four year old Trunks has any fighting prowess. You'd imagine that Bulma may have at least trained him to defend himself, since she's nowhere like Chi Chi.

SSJ3 in seiner vollen Pracht. Ein seltener Anblick heutzutage. Mich würde interessieren wie Goku und Vegetas neue Form (SSJ Null oder?) sich gegen Broly schlagen würde. Die sind zwar nicht auf Vegetto SSJ2 level aber im Kampf Ginyu gegen Bra haben wir ja gelernt dass Vegetto und Bra nicht voll gekämpft haben. Vegetto hat komplett auf Techniken verzichtet und nur auf reine Kraft gesetzt, was gegen Broly eigentlich eine Dumme Idee ist. Ich glaube zusammen hätten Goku und Vegeta hier durchaus eine Chance.
Aber natürlich muss Vegetto mit seinem Dönerspieß da dazwischen funken.

Making stories like this, the art, the… well everything, that’s talent. Not that many people can do that. Criticizing small inconsistencies is something anybody can do. It’s not talent. Just annoying. You try to look at an ever changing page while it’s being made for hours and see the tiny details you can spot. Criticism like this is why I don’t put my own stories online, they’re just for me and my family. If you want a perfect author read the Bible.

well... thats literally what they did. Two kids who broke out of the control of Gero, and found themselves indestructable and more powerful than anyone else in existance.


Their existance never bothered me. Gero being able to create cyborgs with a human base that suddenly were several times stronger than the defacto strongest warriors in the entire universe, now that always rubbed me the wrong way. I kind of wish he had used Radditz and Nappa's bodies for this instead. Saiyan physiology would have explained the powerup a bit more, they'd have actual reason to go after the Z warriors, and it would be great to see how they as characters would be different.

But, that said.. Android 17 was always one of my favorite characters (and I loved how he played a big part in Super's final arc), and Android 18 was, lets face it, sexy as hell, and she certainly slapped the pride out of vegeta. Just such a shame Super's animators made them look so... emotionless and robotic for the majority of the anime, when they perfectly showed emotions in Z. Oh well. At least GT gave Android 18 some great moments.

I click on the left hand to go back to the beginning of the chapter, then I clicked the banner at the bottom that said "Previous special chapter on this universe is this way", and it took me to page 2133. When clicking forward it turned out to be a tournament chapter, but then it seemed like it was a much much earlier tournament chapter. After a couple pages we are introduced to the existence of the Androids at the tournament.

Ich habe mich jahrelang dafür eingesetzt, dass der Buu Novel endlich weiter übersetzt wird. Mittlerweile sind es 5 Jahre...uff. Allerdings hat sich jetzt etwas ergeben. Jemand hat sich bereit erklärt, ENDLICH, den Novel in englisch weiter zu übersetzen und ich habe bereits Kapitel 6 Korrekturgelesen. Ich kümmere mich demnächst darum Kapitel 4 und 5 für den Upload fertig zu machen, dann kümmere ich mich um die deutsche Übersetzung von Kapitel 6.

Kapitel 7-10 sind wohl auch schon fertig auf Englisch, die muss ich aber noch überprüfen.

DANACH geht es weiter mit dem DBM Novel. Wir hängen dort 10 Kapitel hinterher. ^^
Kapitel 156 liegt bereits auf Deutsch vor.

This is what I meant last page with "there was no reason for Gast to have done much". The ki blasts Broly's using aren't really dangerous to the point that Gast has to "break the rules" to stop em. Pretty much everyone can stop them, because they're just THAT unfocused. Only when he sees Broly, does he actually focus his power to the point that Goku needs to go "full power that doesn't take too much time to load", but when that happens, Vegetto just "aggros" Broly, which means the battle just goes as normal, no need for Gast to have forced Broly to de-transform.

I mean they were brown in his initial appearance, but this is technically several years after he death in the main timeline. Also the his original armor is destroyed when he picks up Kakarotto on earth, this is most likely newer armor. Or just a coloring error. XD

Edit: After reviewing past chapters they've always been shown as golden in color, in both Chapter 28 (the cover) and though out Chapter 52.

Es ist übrigens sehr geil das ihr bei der Farbvariante des Comics weiterhin neue Szenen mit einfügt. Das macht die Geschichte viel runder und gibt ihr mehr Tiefe. Erinnert so immer mehr im positiven Sinne an unser altes DB mit den wunderbaren Füllfolgen.

Y creo que esto sigue siendo mejor que cero páginas por semana... tenga un poco de paciencia y acepte lo que obtenga. Colorear incluso una sola página puede llevar muchas horas, incluso más que dibujarla a veces.


Se lo que se tarda en colorear las páginas, lo que me sorprende es que teniendo la opción de comenzar la publicación cuando quisierais por que el proyecto lleva ya muchos años os haya alcanzado ya el ritmo de publicación en apenas un año.

Si hubieseis esperado más tiempo para comenzar a publicar quizás hubieseis podido dar un ritmo constante.

Nada más, solo mi opinión.

Well funnily enough Goku has gi from Dragon Ball GT I didn't expect that. I guess maybe this will be a sequal to Twin Pain? Since Gohan has an orange gi on as opposed to the Piccolo outfit. Maybe we will get the backstory of Universe 15.

Just a question for the people in charge (You don't have to confirm if Salagir has not done so yet).

Has it ever been officially confirmed by Salagir that Universe 15 is the same timeline as the timeline that Cell came from (The one who was killed in Universe 18)?

The clues are there ---- they keep having the same unique stories to the Future Trunks timeline:

— Such as Goku fighting mecha Freeza and Cold
— Future Gohan stopping Majin Buu's revival
— We even see in the Cooler special where Goku's dialogue change for the "Future timelines" is awarded to Universe 15 as well as 12 and 14.

Since this Universe doesn't have Trunks, 17 or 18 or Cell. That means that it fits perfectly since Cell of U15 would have travelled back in time, 17 and 18 would be dead and Trunks would be killed by Cell.

If it hasn't been confirmed that's fine but if it has been confirmed in a Q and A on the forum, I'd just like to know.

He probably means a special covering Raichi sending Hanasia's ghsot to kill all the Saiyans of that Universe after they left the tournament, like the novel and the Coloured scans.

One of those chapters that's brutal if you're checking in every few days, but nice fanservice when it's all said and done. At the end of the day almost any special would be better than months of radio silence as Asura draws the latest main chapters.

Whether Vegetto gets a zenkai boost doesn't matter. Powerlevel-wise, nobody can touch him, and that won't change with or without zenkai. Unless we're comparing SSJ2 Bra with Vegetto in a lower transformation, but that's irrelevant because he can just go SSJ2 easily. Magic-wise, I don't think zenkai boosts matter either. Whatever magic hax that owned him will continue to own him, zenkai or not.

Einer muss mich aufklären, ich check immernoch nicht ob Vegeta jetzt diese dunkelbraunen Haare mit Rotstich hat oder schwarze. Im anime waren sie schwarz aber in diversen games dann so dunkelbraun mal rötlicher mal weniger.

Also hoffe ich, dass hier dann bald mal wieder mehr los ist, denn dann gibt es keine Ausreden mehr, von wegen es sei zu nervig sich dauernd anzumelden! ^^
Eine kleine Anmerkung habe ich noch zum Thema kommentieren. Und zwar kann man ja nur eine begrenzte Anzahl Kommentare in einem kurzen Zeitraum schreiben. Das ist auch sinnvoll, damit einzelne Leute nicht den kommentarberreich komplett voll spammen, allerdings ist es blöd wenn man bei mehreren Comics ein Kommentar schreiben will aber nicht kann wegen dem Timeout. Das Problem hatte ich jetzt schon ein paar mal. Hier wäre es am besten, dass man (wenn möglich) nur einen Timeout bekommt wenn man bei einem Comic zu viele Kommentare schreibt. Alternativ könnte man auch die Anzahl der Kommentare, die man bis zum Timeout schreiben kann hochsetzen, analog zur Anzahl der Comics.

So che chi si occupa della colorazione e revisione di queste pagine legge i commenti. Oltre a fare loro i complimenti per l'ottimo lavoro che fanno avrei un appunto: si potrebbe rendere il pubblico meno viola? Non lo so, mi sembra troppo omogeneo, mi infastidisce ogni volta

Aber eben wie du sagst, klar es ist ein kleines Problem aber ich denke ich bin nicht der einzige der die Seite jeden Tag besucht um immer wieder zu sehen ob jemand was kommentiert (Arbeit, Freizeit, morgens zum Kaffee) hat und dann keine Lust hat sich „schnell mal“ einzuloggen.

Considering what we've seen Yamcha-17 demonstrate already, I'd wager both he and Tien are as strong as Dabura at least - potentially even stronger. But even at equivalent strength, if they teamed up Dabura wouldn't be an issue.

But you're right, the more we learn about U9, the more interesting it is compared to the rest. I'd love to see it fleshed out in full specials.
