He needs the distraction now because then the focus will be off of him. If he asks for the wish and then they refuse, suddenly the chaos is linked directly to him since it only started after his wish was refused. By starting the distraction now, all eyes will be on the villains since no one would think XXI would want these distractions before he gets his wishes, especially since they don't know he can speak Namekian. So while the saiyans, the androids, and Frieza are getting packed up, he can make his wish while they're not looking and promptly leave to another universe before they can do anything about it.

He also probably can put Vegito under his control as a trump card when needed.

I like DBM but sometimes they have their priorities skewed. Why are we focusing on random spectators instead of the characters? Why did no one react to Goku's loss? It's like it was another day in the office for everyone. Vegito suddenly doesn't care despite a major part of his character being his hatred of magic and what he considers to be cheap tricks overcoming strength. We haven't even seen Goku since he was revived. Can I at least get Vegeta's reaction to his rival/best friend being cheapshotted? He looked pretty upset, I'd like to see his thoughts. 4 תגובה/תגובות

Now I want XXI to win because Goten is an idiot. XXI is out of tricks? Even though he's used a different method to defeat every single opponent he's faced thus far, including Gast and Zen Boo who far outclass Goku. Them declaring victory already is idiotic.

Why would IKL give her power to South Kai of all people? She said she observed them while in her mother's womb but she decided South Kai of all people would be the one best suited to finish her mission? Why not Gast who was XXI's next opponent if she wanted to take him out? 2 תגובה/תגובות

I don't mind the idea of this because the kais are obviously not perfect. It's perfectly reasonable that Old Kai just didn't think these mental blocks through or didn't care enough about Raditz to consider how to implement them. That would be the smart thing to do. Buu's techniques + SSJ3 Gogeta's power would wash Broly instantly. Plus Buu would have Gogeta's no fucking around personality so he'd get the job done.

I'm probably missing something from that last Broly special but why don't they try turning him into candy? Even if he can fight as a jawbreaker like Vegetto could, he won't have any limbs and can't use ki blasts. His power will remain but his actual destructive potential will be practically zero.

You know, when you consider the fact that the original premise of this comic was the idea of seeing a bunch of what if match-ups and cool concepts come to life, it's more than a little ironic and just a bit annoying that the longest, most detailed, and best fight in the comic is also the most milque-toast and basic fight in all of DB. Goku vs Vegeta has been done to death. They've fought like 4 or 5 times already in Canon? Not to mention all the side material like games or other drawings/fanfics. The fight is the most iconic or second most iconic behind Goku vs Frieza. We get it, they are rivals. Gast got no diffed by Buu in 2 pages but we get chapters of Goku vs Vegeta. 1 תגובה/תגובות

Ok and what about the other universes, such as universe 20? They were the same Goku and Vegeta and also had a mystic Gohan but they still used their ssj forms and Vegeta didn't even have 3. Am I missing something? Why would Trunks be so scared of Broly? His only encounter with him, they beat him after a struggle. They had more trouble with Cell who also killed him. Yet his reaction to Cell was "Oh Cell, that sucks" while he's over here losing his shit because of Broly. 3 תגובה/תגובות

The funny thing about that picture of SSJ2 Gohan is that it was him smiling at Goku when the latter yelled at him to finish Cell off and Gohan refused. That ended up getting Trunks killed lol. What a fond memory.

I dunno about that Trunks line. I don't recall a single moment in the series when Trunks enjoyed fighting. He only did it because he had to and never once took pleasure in it, and when the opportunity came for him to live a peaceful life, he took it. And thankfully the narrative never chastised him for it like it did with Gohan.

I always thought it was dumb that Buu turned Vegito back into a person. Sure he was still hurting you but how was he going to kill you without the ability to use ki blasts? And he wouldn't have been able to stop you from blowing up the Earth. Just destroy it and move on.

Gast should be much stronger than Bra and also has magic and he got killed instantly. Buu will probably play around with them but there's no reason they should fare any better than he did.

Why is anyone complaining about how Buu is not being sent back to his universe? After all we've learned about him, you think being sent back is somehow a detriment? He could likely come back anytime he likes and do whatever he wishes because he's just that powerful.

I really hope this isn't the end of it. I was looking forward to this match the most since it was two people who should have been close in strength and they kept hyping up Vegeta's new power only for it to end up being just SSJ3 and then he cheap shots Cell for the finish. Honestly, this is all such nonsense. If Vegeta and Cell could so easily resist Babidi's mind control, there's no way Bra couldn't have. Forgiving her under the idea that "she wasn't herself, she was controlled" is laughable. 2 תגובה/תגובות

They "saw" Vegeta sucker punching Goku after both of them agreed to stop fighting. The only people who consider that a win for Vegeta are Vegeta fans who need any bone they can get from Toriyama.

I think this fight is going to show exactly why Buu is seldom used in modern DB. He just has too many powers that should logically bypass power levels for opponents to really be a threat. This dude should not be using physical attacks. Absorb him, turn him into candy. Super Buu, before absorbing Piccolo's intelligence, managed to think up a way to defeat a stronger opponent by absorbing others. This Buu should be doing that first, not trying to beat him with pure power. It's silly.

And before anyone says "But remember candy Vegetto". First of all that was dumb. Buu could have just destroyed the planet from orbit and there's nothing Vegetto could have done about it. Secondly, Buu turned him into hard candy. This Buu can turn Broly into something soft like an egg like Super Buu did to Chi-Chi and just stomp on him. 1 תגובה/תגובות

So essentially what Gast is saying is "not my universe, not my problem" because as soon as she hits ssj3 she's going to have surpassed Vegito and nothing will be able to stop her. So after seeing how she clearly has evil in her heart and the people who know her can attest to her rampages, suddenly the stance is just "wait and see if she destroys everything eventually".

And so even Gast is destroyed as a character in service of Mary Bra.

I'm not sure that the writer understands how fusion works. It's not x+y it's x+y=z. Vegito is NOT Vegeta. He is an entirely new person that has the memories of Goku and Vegeta. Vehito never allowed himself to be possessed by Babidi.

But then again a being made up of two different people somehow made the same exact Bra as Vegeta with Bulma with the only difference being strength so maybe they're just using their own canon.

This page made me realize something. Why is Bra referred to as "Son Bra"? She's Vegeta and Bulma's daughter in U18 and Vegetto and Bulma's daughter in U16. Even if U16 Bra refers to Gohan as her brother because Vegetto is half Goku, she still shouldn't carry his last name. So either Vegetto took the name Son or she should be Bra Briefs. 1 תגובה/תגובות

I sincerely hope this leads to some serious and lasting comeuppance for Bra. She's far beyond the point of redemption. She doesn't even show any sympathy for her own self. This isn't even the brainwashing since it's never explained why this Babidi's brainwashing is so much more effective than U18 who couldn't even control Vegeta properly.
