As bummed as I am that Goku lost, that shits right up his alley. Literal insurmountable odds? An enemy he can't beat (yet)? This mf is going to be so hyped when he gets back. He probably didn't even realize he died. He's gonna get back and be like, "Yo Vegeta, did you see that? XXI is incredible! I can't wait to fight him again, this time I'll be ready! Now where's the food?". Pan will be confused as to why he's happy, and Goku will say some stupid shit like, "Just knowing there's incredible guys like that out there makes me wanna train harder than ever!"

So, Raditz being the pragmatic man that he is, will probably speak with U18. He knows he can't trust U13, even if he's possibly stronger than Vegeta, but knowing he needs to be backed by "Good Guys" so he's not obliterated by them, he might determine that they'd be best to talk with. Goku will get a chance to talk to a version of his brother who isn't actively trying to kill him, and U18 Vegeta might enjoy the convo as well, being a changed man.

I'm confused at these motivations. Is Namek destroyed in U13? Is it destroyed/exist in XXI's universe? If it's as simple as asking the dragon for the ability to travel the universes, surely XXI can find a spell or whatnot to revive a dragon clan Namek. Then just make a wish from the safety of his own universe? Same as the Saiyan's. They're clearly strong enough to make the Namekians do it, as they did in Z at Vegeta's level. Idk man, goals seem lofty.

This is a great argument. The androids would be weaker overall, due to the lack of powerful warriors. As far as Gero knows, the strongest was Kaio-ken Goku. Everyone else being a normal/enhanced human scales the powers down considerably.

We're all thinking that the wish effects Goku, but what if it effected his Universe. Goku has shown fierce loyalty to his friends and family, and in doing that he has shown a major weakness. A wish like "I wish for Universe 18 to be (idk something permanent that only XXI can reverse)" and then he tells Goku before the fight, leading it to be either Goku sacrifices his friends to win (some stipulation where they can't be revived unless by XXI) or he forfeits. Idk some crap like that

I mean, aside from the desolate universes, don't many of them still have access to Dragon Balls? They're just regular namekian dragon balls. Couldn't Bra just make the wish after the tournament when they get home? And before you say it's beyond the capability of the dragon to make wishes across universes, remember they're already in universe 0, which is not the Helios universe. So it would already be crossing universes. I know U18 is just there for the fight, so like, all they need to do is take a list of wishes and every 6 months (Namek time limit I think) they make a new wish or two, completely negating the tournament...

It's so clear, how could we be so foolish. Gast has to win, because then we'll get "Goku vs Piccolo" pt 2 in the finals. Salagir will do an homage to the 23rd tournament. I bet Goku will even blow a hole in Gast's chest, maybe Gast will even go Giant. Who knows, but I'm betting on it.

I don't think XXI will be able to defuse Gast, despite his vast power, if he could, why wouldn't he just defuse Vegito instead of sending him away for 5 minutes. I think that would have been more efficient, taking out a powerhouse if he was going to do something evil.

For those saying that this page shows no progress, I beg to differ. From the beginning of the fight they've been basically equal on strength, only capitalizing on a slip up or slight mistake of the other. The hits, while still powerful, are less and less effective as they wear themselves out. That bottom panel, at full strength, would blow each other back at lease a few feet, but it didn't. This is truly a battle of attrition.

I think we're all forgetting just how strenuous the Final Flash is on Vegeta. There has never been a time, canonically or otherwise where he has reacted immediately after a Final Flash. Not with Cell form 2, not with Bojack, even in the games there's a recovery moment, (Maybe except FighterZ). Veg knows he's beat, and I think anything he tries will be futile. He's having End of Z flashbacks, in his head.

I love Goku and Gotenks relationship in DBM, Goten's got his innocent mannerisms, but Chichi's purposeful action, like when he makes jokes. But at the end of the day he's too much like his dad. Even the stances. I miss the little Goku clone lol but he's gotten much better as a teen.

Ok so, Goten-Kun, is this a translation of a previously created web manga that you made? Or is this fresh and new right now with pages coming out every whatever days? Because I'm enjoying it but I have some translation issues.

Dragon Ball Super is not used here I know. But it gives us a Toriyama view of how Goku would continue to powerup even without Gods. It was Toriyama who made the decision of putting Kaioken on a SSJ.
I'm not crying to please put Kaioken in SSJ, I'm not trying to make DBM different with my comments. I'm just a fan sharing with the community how I see it.

Iirc, when Goku used Kiao-ken with SSJ in the otherworld tournament, filler I know, he said the strain on the body that kaio-ken exhibits combined with the raw power of ssj would tear him apart, but his "dead" body could handle it because it had no limits, much like how he learned SSJ3 in other world.
