The fight would be kinda cheap if Nail dies now, but it's it's possible. What I guess will happen is that he'll lose the arm he's using to block the attack or a bit more, but could regenerate it later.

i'm a bit dissapointed, since this is exactly the way it was with vegeta in the manga. and its strange that nail (official power level 43.000 ) makes the same little damage that vegeta did (at that time at 20.000 - official power level) if you go by logic in the manga, Nail should be stronger than Reecome. Captain G. estimated goku at 60.000 when he took out the G.Force members with single punches only. still, Jeece( or whatever) refused to believe that gokus pl is that high. wich whould mean, that even a warrior at 50.000 should b able to take out reekome with one hit, because Jeece knew that goku took him down with one punch and still, he couldnt believe that he is at 60.000. also, vegeta was able to land punches that actually hurted reecome, (not that much but they caused pain). therefor Reecome should be around 30.000 and not more. Nail should be able to take him down rather easily. I love the comic, so im not b*tching around, i just wondered about that.

I think I somewhere saw a manga panel (Daizex forums? I don't remember) where Vegeta's powerlevel was said to be 36.000 or something by Burta/Jeece, when he fought Recoome.
That (or even a higher number) would quite fit because Vegeta also defeated Zarbon in his transformed state with ease, which has to have been higher than 22.000 or 23.000 or whatever Zarbon's untransformed powerlevel had been - so at least Vegeta's powerlevel was higher than 20.000 when he fought Recoome (even if I am misinformed about the 36.000).

Nail was around 4X.000 indeed, so yes, I also think he should have lasted longer against Recoome than Vegeta did if not even win.
But then again, this is 10 years after the Buu Saga - who knows, maybe Nail didn't train that hard while Recoome always was in battle conquering more and more planets.

So all in all - it is a bit like Vegeta vs. Recoome, but I personally think it's alright.

I know its strange , but the official manga said vegeta to be at 20.000. wich is dumb, since he was at 24.000 when he arrived at namek, and he even grew stronger after the battle with zarbon. its a mistake toryama did, simply. but my calculation about reecome should be correct, on the other hand you may be right, since theese guys are from different universes than the ones we know, so their powers can be different too. its alright, I love the comic but i would have loved to see nail shine at least once. he was a strong fighter, but all he got is a fight with freeza, wich made him seen weaker than he was. the same thing with king cold. i hope he gets a fight to win in this series. Id love to see that. or a universe where kamicollo killed cell and stayes the strongest. that would be nice, since i love piccolo - another great character, whoose potenctial get vasted at the end of the story.

So are the power levels you guys are talking about from the daizenshu? Anyways when Vegeta was up against Recoome he was about 31,000 and Recoome was 45,000. On Namek a few thousands tip the tables to your opponent so obviously Nail(42,000) vs. Recoome(45,000) would end up having Recoome as the winner. Unless you have different PL's than mine.

@Kale: the power levels I talk about are from the original manga written by Akira himself. so vegeta was at 20.000. reecomes level was NEVER stated exactly,but you can figure out that hes weaker than Nail.

Unitron: The 20,000 level was a Tankoban typo. In the Kanzeban re-issue of the manga Toriyama corrected the mistake. It now says "29,000 and rising" I believe. Or maybe just 29,000, but either way it's fixed.

why everyone is argue over the power level? mayeb i miss my page but is these two from universe 18 if not then power levle is irelivent, if they come from different universe they will not necesarily have same power level as in DBZ.
